Wine: |
Picolit is the gem of vine and wine production in
Friuli. Already in remote times it was cultivated and highly
considered. Picolit is, in fact, the most noble of Friulan wines, its
most prestigious fruit: a wine of great complexity, warm and mellow,
harmoniously combining sweet and sharp sensations.
A wine
for “meditation”, as delicate and precious as its antique-gold colour. |
|
Food matchings: |
Like a diamond, it preferes to be admired alone. It is
an extraordinary wine for meditation and goes surprisingly well with
some strong cheese. To be served chilled, but never cold. |
